Day 1 – Varanasi
On arrival at Varanasi airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel in Varanasi. Rest and relax at the hotel, later explore the city of Varanasi, his includes a walk through the various sacred Ghats. Visit the sacred shrine of Kashi- Vishwanath (also known as the Golden Temple), and Bharat Mata Mandir, a simple temple dedicated to ‘Mother India’. Later proceed to Sarnath, an important site for the Buddhists, visit the Dhamekha Stupa, the Archeological museum and the Chaukhandi Stupa. In the evening attend aarti on the bank of River Ganges in Varanasi. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 – VAranasi – Prayagraj
Early in the morning, enjoy a boat ride on the River Ganges, followed by a visit to Akhara and see the traditional form of martial arts practiced there. Later leave for Allahabad (Officially Prayagraj). Upon arrival check-in at the hotel, later visit Triveni Sangam – the confluence of the three holy rivers, Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswati. Enjoy a boat ride on Triveni Sangam, to reach the point where all three rivers meets and where pilgrims throng in large numbers to take a sacred bath. Later visit Bade Hanuman Ji Temple – which enshrines a 20-ft-long idol of Lord Hanuman in a resting position. After that visit Allahabad fort, and Anand Bhawan. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 – Prayagraj – Ayodhya
After breakfst at the hotel, leave for Ayodhya – the birth place of Shri Rama and setting of the great epic Ramayana. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. After fresh-n-up, visit the holy Sarayu River, where thousands of pilgrims take a sacred bath. Later visit Shri Ram Janam Bhumi, the birthplace of Lord Rama, believed to be the seventh avatar of the Hindu deity Lord Vishnu.
Later visit other important sites in Ayodhya including Hanuman Garhi Mandir, Kanak Bhawan, Sita Ki Rasoi, Dashrath Mahal, Tulsi Smarak Bhavan, and Ram Katha Sangrahalay. In Ayodhya several religions have grown and prospered simultaneously and also at different periods of time in the past. Remnants of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam can still be found in Ayodhya.
Post lunch we’ll reach Kanchan Bhawan from where you will start the Mokshadayani Heritage Walk to Nageshwar Dham. After the walk, board a boat to enjoy a short ride on the fast flowing river. Later in the evening, attend the Aarti Ceremony (a Hindu religious ritual of worship) on the banks of Saryu River. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ayodhya.
Day 4 – Ayodhya – Naimisharanya – Lucknow
After breakfast, leave for Naimisharanya. Naimisharanya Lord Vishnu Temple is a major pilgrimage center, that attracts devotees from all over India. Naimisaranyam Lord Vishnu is considered to be an Aranya Swaroopi, or in other words, the Forest of Naimisaranyam, hallowed earlier on by the discourses on the great epics of India, by Vyasa Muni and Suka Muni. It is considered as a manifestation of Vishnu and held in reverence and worship. After Naimisharanya Lord Vishnu Temple, leave for Lucknow. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 – Lucknow local sighseeing and drop
Post breakfast, head-out to explore Lucknow, an interesting place with great things to offer. The structures in Lucknow showcase the fine blend of Indo-Islamic and colonial era, visit Bara Imambara and Chhota Imambara. Both are imposing monuments with great historical significance. Spend some time indulging into shopping and trying out some ethnic dishes. Later, our representative will transfer you to Lucknow airport for onward journey.
